The business specialises within the offshore and marine industry and have developed an enviable reputation as one of the leading service providers to the sector. You will be given the opportunity to travel internationally as part of the role and will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in complex overhaul projects.
The Job you will do:
- Your role will lead major overhaul projects on a variety of medium and high-speed engines.
- You will be accountable for the effective management of a team of engineers and managing the allocation of workload as demanded by the project.
- As lead engineer, you will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed and delivered within the agreed timescales to the customer.
- You will also be hands-on in investigating faults and identifying and implementing long-term solutions.
- Your role will have daily contact with customers on site, providing regular progress updates and work scope variations reports.
About you:
- It is essential you have extensive experience of overhauling Medium and High-speed engines and ancillary equipment.
- You must also have relevant management experience and possess management skills including motivation, training and development.
- It is essential you have experience in leading major engine overhauls.
- Marine and Offshore industry experience is essential.
- QHSE knowledge is also an advantage.
