MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in the Kilmarnock area with their plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent technician to join their team.
A successful candidate will be responsible for performing essential works on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site day to day. The role will be working as a permanent day shift - 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday.
The Job You’ll Do:
- Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service
- Working to agreed planned maintenance schedules to perform essential work on the production machinery
- Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system
- Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
- Customer liaison and assisting in meetings
- Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety
About You:
- Experienced of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment
- Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible
- The ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience within a similar position
- This is a 'hands on' position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- Must be PC literate
- Have excellent communication skills
