The Job You’ll Do:
- Manage and maintain the customer returns process, including logging, tracking, investigation coordination, and reporting
- Control and disposition non-conforming / reject material in line with company procedures
- Ensure traceability and accurate records for all quality-related activities
- Support shopfloor quality activities and liaise with production teams
- Support 8D investigations, primarily through implementing and managing containment actions & data collection and evidence gathering
- Assist in using structured problem-solving tools to identify root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes
- Create, update, and review manufacturing instructions / work instructions
- Ensure documentation is clear, controlled, and aligned with current processes
- Support implementation of standardised processes and best practices
- Support the calibration system, including: Tracking calibration status of equipment, coordinating internal/external calibration activities
- Provide general quality support across inspection, testing, and process validation activities where required
About You:
- Previous experience in a Quality Technician or similar role within engineering/manufacturing
- Good IT / office skills (Excel, Word, data entry, reporting)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Understanding of technical drawings, BOMs, or assembly documentation
- Exposure to quality tools (8D, root cause analysis, basic SPC)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
