The Job You'll Do:

  • Cover production technical operations
  • Learn the technical aspects of the companies' products
  • Support customers via the technical phone line and site visits
  • Attend and report machine breakdowns and report any and all actions carried out, as well as any further actions required
  • Diagnosing and repairing PCBs down to component level
  • Carrying out mechanical maintenance fault finding and repair on electronic manufacturing machinery

About You:

  • Qualified to ONC/HNC level or above in a relevant discipline (Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar)
  • Mechanical fault-finding maintenance experience
  • Previous experience as a qualified technician, with a history of PPM and breakdown response on Electronic Manufacturing equipment
  • SMT and electronics manufacturing machine experience
  • You must have the ability to diagnose and repair PCBs down to component level using a schematic drawing and use diagnostic equipment
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Have the ability to work within a team environment or individually
  • A focus on continuous improvement and LEAN activities
