Hgv Class 1 Driver in Cramlington

The Company Our client is a market leading engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a HGV Driver. The Role * Is a permanent role with an immediate start. * Operating large articulated lorries for long-haul transport. * Delivering and collecting the company’s products across the UK. * Route planning. * Ensuring load safety. * Supervising loading/unloading. * Vehicle checks and coordinating deliveries. * Includes on average 9 overnights per month. The Person * Must have Class 1 Driving Licence-Category C+E, Driver CPC and digital tacho card. * Experience working within HGV driving role. * Strong attention to detail, ensure trailers are loaded safely and securely. * Complete daily defect sheets. * Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive. * Follow all company operational procedures. * Excellent customer service skills.
