The Company you will be working with:
MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our prestigious client on their search for a highly experienced and proactive Warehouse and Purchasing Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone who is on a senior level and is able to successfully run their own department. The company are looking for someone who can work to their own initiative with minimal supervision and is self-motivated. The Role you will be doing:
- Create and raise purchase orders for goods in/out for Europe and UK
- Monitor inventory levels and reordering stock when required
- Request quotes from suppliers and compare prices
- Stock control
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries and pricing
- Maintain supplier and purchasing records
- Enter inventory and purchasing data into ERP systems
- File and maintain purchasing and shipping documentation
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, purchasing activity and stock usage
- Coordinate with production to ensure materials are available
- Answer emails and phone calls related to orders and deliveries
- Able to work fully on site Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30
About You:
- You must have worked in a Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in Warehousing/Purchasing role
- Experience using ERP System
- SAP experience is preferred but not essential
- Forklift driving license is preferred but not essential
- Inventory Management experience
- Purchasing and procurement knowledge
- Data Entry Accuracy
- Able to be a self-starter and work to own initiative with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
