The Company you will be working with:

Experienced and highly organised Pallet Network Manager to oversee and optimise our pallet distribution network. This role is responsible for managing the pallet network team as well as relationships with pallet network customers, ensuring efficient freight movement in designated delivery areas. The role will include managing office staff, drivers, vehicles/trailers and optimising resources whilst controlling costs and maintaining high service levels.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of pallet network distribution, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods; this will include office staff, planners, FLT drivers and HGV drivers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and pallet network customers and partners.
  • Monitor network performance, including service levels, delivery times, and damage rates.
  • Analyse transport data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Manage resources effectively to optimise performance.
  • Resolve escalations, service failures, and customer complaints related to pallet deliveries.
