MTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our industry leading client on their search for an experienced quality inspector to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

The Role you will be doing;
- Parts Inspection of components against customer requirements and engineering drawings
- Use of inspection equipment including micrometres, callipers, thread gages, and optical comparator etc.
- Review of manufacturers quality documentation (material certs, test certificate, NDT etc.)
- Non-conformance investigation and reporting
- Participate in internal audit program
- Monitor and ensure calibration status of tools and equipment
- Use company IT system to process parts, produce reports and to prioritise work
- Assisting in the processing of components throughout operations
- Carry out goods inward and pre-delivery inspections
- Count, validates, and adjusts inventory, reporting errors and reasons for discrepancies
- Support Sales and Operations teams as required and carry out tasks required to support business continuity.
- Participate in Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and Continuous Improvement projects
About You;
- Engineering / Technical Qualification preferred
- An understanding of manufacturing processes used in the production of Fasteners components
- IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office, Adobe / Foxit and understands ERP or Inventory software.
- Ability to understand instructions given in oral, written, or diagram form.
- Proficiency with standard fastener inspection tools and equipment.
- The ability to work as part of a team and explain inspection techniques to others.
- Willingness to continue training and development to self-enhance personal performance.
- Good record keeping, organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience as an (ISO9001/AS9120) internal auditor is desired
