The Company you will work for:

Mtrec Commercial are proudly representing our highly established and successful client on their search for an experienced Export Operator to join the company as soon as possible. If you have the skills and experience required, please apply for an immediate response!

The Role you will be doing:

  • Arranging all modes of export such as Air, Sea and Road.
  • Facilitate the shipping of customer orders both domestically and internationally using couriers, freight forwarders, customer intermediaries and customer portals.
  • Assist with Customs Clearance.
  • Provide information and prepare progress reports as required by the management team.
  • Export licensing and compliance.
  • Record keeping and archiving.
  • Track process quality issues that prevent on-time delivery.
  • The role is working Monday – Friday general office hours.

About you:

  • Well organised and strong administrative and IT skills.
  • High level of numeracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to multitask to achieve deadlines and targets.
  • Computer literate and able to use multiple applications.
  • Previous experience and understanding of customs processes such as: import/export declarations, tariff codes, commercial invoices, incoterms & harmonised tariff code.
  • Great customer service is needed along with strong communication skills.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Experience of courier/freight forwarder/customer portals.
