The Company you will be working for:
MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our industry leading client on their search for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team as soon as possible, on a full-time permanent basis. If you have the required skills and experience, please apply for an immediate response!
The Role you will be doing:
- Submission of all Contract Claims, valuations and Invoices.
- Review of Contract Terms and Conditions.
- Management of Costing & Sun Accounts System & sales invoicing.
- Analysis of Cash Book and updating costs.
- Production of WIP and Debtors list for Accounts – issue to head of finance.
- Assessing and payment of Subcontractor invoices/valuations, liaising with Contracts Managers & Accounts department.
- Management / Operation of the CIS Scheme – Including subcontractor verification and submission of returns using the HMRC online reporting system.
- Maintenance and recording of subcontract payments.
- Liaising with the board of directors and the senior Management Team to provide overview of contract valuations and commercial reports as required.
- Management of Assistant QS.
- Your core working hours will be Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm though, you must be flexible to meet business needs.
About You:
- Previous Commercial Management experience is essential.
- You may be a senior QS looking for a new career move.
- Experience managing costs, pricing and sales invoicing.
- Previous end of project management experience.
- Must have a full clean UK driving licence.
- Flexible and willing to travel to various sites within the North-East.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organisation skills.
