Our client is an established and successful business based in Hebburn. They are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.
The role you will be doing:
- Working hands on with upholstered items and passing skills on to others
- Upholstering headboards, seating and other upholstered items to a high standard
- Helping to develop and refine new products alongside the design team
- Teaching and mentoring others as the upholstery team grows
- Assisting with basic wood machine work and furniture assembly where needed
- Ensuring quality, consistency and safety in all tasks
About You:
- Strong upholstery experience, particularly with headboards and seating
- Good working knowledge of upholstery tools and materials
