The Job you will do: Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure finished goods are prepared in line with loading schedules.
Raise purchase and sales orders using internal systems and business software.
Coordinate shipping and haulage arrangements with freight forwarding partners.
Prepare and complete transport and shipping documentation accurately and within required timescales.
Oversee the loading and dispatch of customer orders.
Resolve operational issues promptly while delivering excellent customer service.
Maintain high standards of service by following company procedures and compliance requirements.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Contribute positively to the wider logistics team and support business objectives as required.
Ensure the highest standards of customer and supplier care are consistently achieved.
About you: At least 3 years experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role.
Good knowledge of HGV transport regulations and compliance.
Experience with transport management systems is essential Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to prioritise workload and work independently while meeting deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
