  • Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday, 08:00 - 15:30

The Company you will be working with:

MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our prestigious client on their search to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator on a full time and permanent basis. If you feel you have the required skills and experience, then please apply for an immediate response!

The Role you will be doing:

The person will largely operate independently, with support set out for holidays, absence and general cover.

Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site.

Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments.

Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers.

Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms.

About You:

  • Previous experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics, supplier coordination is essential
  • Egypt / Middle East trade would be welcomed, although this is not essential.
  • Highly organised and able to work at your own initiative
  • Proactive
  • Strong communicator
