Our New Client Opportunity:

Our client is a successful and established business based in Billingham. They are looking for an Internal Account Executive to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.

The job you will be doing:

  • Building strong relationships with trade customers to encourage business growth, using telephone-based prospecting, educating and selling
  • Carry out prospect calls to non-spending prospects
  • Account management calls to branches according to call cycles
  • Work to company and personal KPIs
  • Work with line manager to give input on annual strategic plan
  • Prepare proposals and/or quotations for accounts you are responsible for
  • Work with our marketing team to ensure leads are developed
  • Send product information as required
  • Ensure incoming enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Assist in monitoring trade accounts spend in conjunction with sales target tracking
  • Assist with driving technology improvement to make department more efficient including CRM etc
  • Ensure all customer contact details are correct in ERP system
  • Provide data and reports for line manager as required in a timely manner
  • Assist with telephone answering as required
  • Account management of accounts you look after including dealing with queries/issues

About You:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Marketing and sales training would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of using NetSuite is an advantage
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Able to build strong customer relationships
  • Be comfortable with outbound calling and prospecting
  • Work in alignment with company values
  • Adaptable to change in a growing and developing business
