We’re currently working with an established main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale high rise development in Leeds. This is a key position within the project team, overseeing external works packages on a major city centre scheme. The role would suit a strong Senior Site Manager who is confident managing subcontractors, driving programme and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard on complex multi-storey developments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing external works packages on a large-scale high rise project
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities
- Driving programme and ensuring works are delivered on schedule
- Managing health & safety and maintaining site compliance
- Monitoring quality and ensuring works are delivered to specification
- Liaising with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors
- Managing logistics and sequencing on a busy city centre site
- Supporting overall project delivery through to completion
What You Will Need
- Previous experience working on high rise residential or mixed-use developments
- Strong background managing external works packages
- Experience operating as a Senior Site Manager within a main contracting environment
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and drive programme
- Strong understanding of health & safety and quality management
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Strong communication and leadership skills
