We're working with a well-established contractor to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality construction project in North Yorkshire. This is a unique scheme with a strong focus on sustainability and premium finishes, offering the opportunity to be involved from early stages through to completion.

Due to the nature of the build, they are looking for a strong Site Manager to take overall responsibility on site, working alongside a second manager focused on trades and finishes.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations as the number one on site
  • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, particularly through finishing stages
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Managing site logistics, materials and labour
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team
  • Monitoring progress and reporting on programme and performance
  • Overseeing snagging, handover and final delivery

What You Will Need:

  • Proven experience operating as a Site Manager on build projects
  • Strong track record delivering projects through to completion
  • Experience managing high-quality finishes desirable
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum
