The Company
We’re working with one of the UK’s largest Property Developers who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their small, North West based commercial team.
The Role
This is a new role and they are recruiting due to consistent growth and ambitious plans. It's a hybrid role where you would spend 2 days a week working from home and 3 days a week in their office with occasional site visits. You’ll be involved in the projects from their early stages so any cost planning/estimating experience you have would be very useful. Your key task is to ensure that projects progress efficiently, affordably and safely. You’ll be responsible for tracking progress, spend, cashflow, and risk. You’ll be involved with appointing and working with/monitoring Employers Agents, Clerk of Works, Main Contractors etc. A full job description with duties is available for review.
You
We are looking for a Quantity Surveying Graduate who has practical Quantity Surveying experience gained either with Developers, Consultancies or Contractors. You will have an understanding of JCT Contracts and their administration, construction techniques, Standard Method of Measurement, market rates and you'll be able to commute to their office in Greater Manchester.
