Im working with a renowned regional contractor who are looking to appoint a Site Engineer due to a record-breaking year and a rapidly growing workload across West and South Yorkshire. They are a family ran multi-disciplined company who deliver projects into the millions across new builds, affordable housing and civil engineering.
This role offers long-term, locally based work on highways and infrastructure schemes, ideal for an Engineer looking for stability and progression within a busy contractor environment.
The role will involve:
- Setting out works on highways and infrastructure projects
- Interpreting drawings, specifications and construction information
- Ensuring works are delivered to correct line, level and quality
- Carrying out quality checks and site inspections
- Producing as-built records and site documentation
- Working closely with Foremen and Site Agents on delivery

- Background in highways, infrastructure or civil engineering works
- Strong setting-out and technical skills
