We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our Tier 1 client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This pivotal role involves ensuring the seamless management of all project documentation, from design drawings to safety records, in compliance with industry standards such as BS19650. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, and external stakeholders to maintain accurate, accessible, and secure documentation through leading digital platforms like Viewpoint 4Projects, SharePoint, and Autodesk Build.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in construction document control, with a background in build projects, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have:
- Proven experience in document control within the construction or engineering sector, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor
- Experience managing site documentation, including drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and health & safety records
- Full familiarity with platforms such as Viewpoint 4Projects, SharePoint, and Autodesk Build
- Knowledge of BS19650 standards and document control processes
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to set up and maintain project folder structures, manage workflows, and control user access
- Capable of reviewing QA, coordinating RFIs, and supporting design and compliance submissions
