We're working with a leading utilities provider to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee or Assistant QS to gain exposure across the full project lifecycle. You'll be supported by an experienced commercial team while building your skills in contract management, cost control, and project delivery. The role is based in Leeds, with a mix of office working and site visits.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the commercial management of multiple projects
  • Assisting with cost estimates, reporting and forecasting
  • Supporting contract administration (primarily NEC)
  • Helping assess applications for payment and variations
  • Maintaining commercial records and registers
  • Identifying risks and supporting cost control measures
  • Working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders

What You Will Need:

  • Some experience or placement within Quantity Surveying or construction
  • Relevant qualification (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills
  • Good communication and willingness to learn
  • Basic understanding of construction or civils projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
