We're currently working with a well-established, family-run Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy to recruit a Civil / Structural Engineer for their West Yorkshire office. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to join a close-knit consultancy with an outstanding reputation and loyal client base. They're ideally seeking someone with both structural and civils experience, although candidates with a strong structural background and a genuine desire to develop their civils knowledge will also be considered.
You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, with the opportunity to build your own portfolio of clients and take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Delivering structural and civil engineering designs across a varied project portfolio
- Producing calculations, technical reports and supporting design documentation
- Undertaking site inspections, surveys and client meetings
- Managing your own projects while working closely with senior engineers
- Building long-term relationships with clients and consultants
- Supporting projects from initial concept through to completion
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Civil or Structural Engineering Consultancy
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in structural design, with civils experience desirable but not essential
- Good understanding of UK design standards and engineering principles
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to continue learning and developing
