MTR Elizabeth line is currently looking for a 345 Fleet Delivery Manager to support the Head of Fleet Delivery with the day-to-day operation of the Class 345 fleet. The role will manage the MTR Elizabeth line Shift Delivery Team and work with the train maintainer to ensure that the fleet is delivered safely, cleanly, and reliably to meet the daily availability target. The role will be based at Old Oak Common Depot with the expectation of flexibility to work across the Elizabeth line estate as required. As the 345 Delivery Manager, you will be required to be part of the Fleet on-call roster.
Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone that meets the below requirements; if this is you, we would love to hear from you:
- Experience of managing high-profile train maintenance agreements with at least 5 years in a position of authority.
- Experience of depot and metro style rail operations.
- Excellent project, influencing, and people management skills.
- Experience of line managing a team across a 24/7 operation.
- Knowledge of ETCS and CBTC.
- Ability to manage a relationship effectively.
- Commercially astute.
- Demonstrated background in rolling stock maintenance and delivery.
- Ability to undertake engineering risk assessments for decisions and their impact on customer or employee.
- Data management experience including Excel and Power BI.
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards).
