ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Respond to all enquiries from customers and engage directly
  • Liaise with new and existing clients to identify their specific order requirements
  • Understand customer information, drawings and technical information
  • Prepare detailed and competitive quotations and proposals
  • Ensure swift follow up of quotes and negotiate to secure orders
  • Liaise with sub-contract suppliers as required
  • Monitor and communicate delivery times along with updates on progress
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals and communications for future reference
  • Document key points and action items
  • Build, develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, maintaining our high standard of service
  • ABOUT YOU

  • Sales experience in a similar engineering / manufacturing environment
  • Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
  • Confidence to deal with decision makers and customers directly
  • Proficient in using CRM and CAD software and other sales tools
  • A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
