Position: Primary Teacher Assistant – The Khankendi Campus (Full-Time)

Application Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in pedagogical field.
  • 1 year of experience in the appropriate field is mandatory.
  • Ability to use modern educational and electronic equipment (smart boards, tablets, computers, etc.) in the classroom.
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani, B2 level English languages.
  • Experience in using MS Office and Windows software packages.
  • To establish effective communication with students and parents, school leaders, teachers and support staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning by actively participating in lessons and working with small groups.
  • Assist the teacher with all classroom activities as instructed.
  • Prepare for lessons by reading lesson plans in advance and understanding your role clearly; ask the teacher if anything is unclear.
  • Help deliver effective and engaging lessons.
  • Support the teacher in assessing group work.
  • Assist in preparing reports and attending parent meetings when needed.
  • Support morning registration and self-directed learning lessons, and explain tasks to students when necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom and around the school.
  • Supervise students during break times according to the duty schedule.
  • Help with after-school clubs by supporting or leading activities.
  • Assist in preparing lesson materials, including digital resources.
  • Help create classroom displays following school guidelines.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
