Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: MTK (Breaker Hire & Sales) Ltd, Levenshulme, Manchester M19 3JL
Hours: Flexible part-time hours
Salary: Salary/hourly rate – negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate must have good accounts experience and be confident using Sage accounting software. Knowledge of Syrinx would be an advantage, although training may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting and financial administration
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Reconciling bank transactions and accounts
- Assisting with credit control and customer account queries
- Supporting the preparation of reports and other financial information
- General administrative duties within the accounts function
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an accounts or finance administration role
- Confident using Sage
- Familiar with Syrinx (preferred but not essential)--Familiarity with bespoke systems would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets would be ideal
- Accurate and highly organised, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload
- Reliable, professional and able to maintain confidentiality
- A good communicator with a practical, hands-on approach
