Junior Communications Account Executive (London)

Our sole aim is working with clients to protect their reputation, whatever the situation. We do this in a discreet and personalised manner while ensuring that we fit flexibly into any company’s crisis response team.

As well as providing crisis response services, MTI also provide risk mitigation for our clients from training, formulation of crisis management and communications plans and consultancy.

The role

You will be working in our London office providing support to our senior team with crisis response and crisis preparedness for a range of global clients. In addition, you will work with our media monitoring/analytics team in providing support in any incident that may attract unfavourable media attention.

MTI has seen continued growth over the last few years and the team is ambitious to continue. You’ll have the opportunity to help drive new business as well as support marketing initiatives to reinforce MTI’s position as the primary experts on crisis response in our chosen sectors.

Key responsibilities:

· Co-ordinating and supporting client media training for senior management and office staff

· Ability to set-up and create reports using Meltwater

· Drafting of Holding Statements for clients during an incident

· Providing support to senior management in new business proposals

· Putting together powerpoint presentations for senior directors

· Assisting in managing current client relationships to ensure they receive exceptional service

Who we are looking for:

· An enthusiastic, energetic and committed graduate willing to throw themselves into the role and work with the existing team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels

· Strong IT proficiency and adept at using Microsoft office and monitoring/listening tools

· The ability to work from our London (Chelsea) office 5 days a week
