Major project at an investment bank requires a Senior Scala Developer to join a highly successful Big Data development team. The successful candidate will undertake full development lifecycle responsibilities, largely focused around server-side components and will be required to have good knowledge of Scala based Data Centric custom-built applications.
Taking responsibility to analyse business or technical requirements and design solutions to develop critical components across risk, instrument data and trading solutions for FX, Equity and Fixed Income products, the successful candidate will be required to have seen a number of successful development initiatives from initiation through various implementation phases, contributing to Big Data solutions for high throughput systems.
