We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts for Salesforce Service Cloud solutions throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands a strong background in software quality assurance, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues. The QA Lead will work closely with developers, architects, and project managers, and will be responsible for managing a team of QA resources, Master Test Plan and Test Strategy, Reporting and Test traceability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies for Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, based on provided designs and user stories.
  • Lead a team of QA analysts and testers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
  • Oversee various testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution with the development team.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to project stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk, progress, and potential improvements.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure that solutions meet quality standards, business requirements, and architectural guidelines.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to provide input on testability, quality considerations, and resource planning.
  • Drive the development and improvement of QA processes, best practices, and testing methodologies.
  • Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverable deadlines.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including Master Test Plan and Test strategy, test cases, test summary reports, and quality metrics.
  • Manage and maintain the QA environment and test tooling.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Consultant or Software Tester, with at least 3+ years in a lead role.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance principles, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
  • Extensive experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar).
  • Experience with tools like Zephyr.
  • Proven experience in test automation, including the development and implementation of automation frameworks.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring QA teams.
