We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands a strong background in software quality assurance, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues. The QA Consultant will work closely with developers, architects, and project managers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, based on provided designs and user stories.
- Perform various testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to project stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk and potential improvements.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
- Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverable deadlines.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Consultant or Software Tester.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
