A leading insurance group in the London Insurance Market are seeking a Business Analyst to support workflow optimisation and automation initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an early-career BA who enjoys improving processes and working closely with both business and technology teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping solutions that drive operational efficiency, improve decisioning, and modernise core processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements (workshops, interviews, process mapping)
- Support the design and delivery of workflow automation solutions
- Produce clear documentation including business requirements, functional specs, process flows, and user stories
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams throughout delivery
- Support UAT and business testing (test scenarios, defect triage, stakeholder sign-off)
- Help build repeatable BA standards and best practices
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure solutions align with business objectives
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a change or technology environment
- Experience working on process improvement or workflow automation initiatives
- Exposure to decisioning platforms, rules engines, or decision-based systems
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Experience supporting testing phases, including UAT
- Comfortable working in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience within the London Insurance Market
- Exposure to underwriting, policy administration, or insurance operations processes
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar BA/delivery tools
