Technology Project Manager – Data Science & AI
A leading retailer is seeking a Technology Project Manager to drive its growing Data Science & AI capability. Following successful proof-of-concept projects, these initiatives are now being scaled in-house to deliver measurable impact on payroll accuracy and financial performance.
This is a high-profile role where you’ll lead complex Data Science and AI/ML programmes end-to-end. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating delivery across cross-functional squads, ensuring programmes land successfully, and turning innovation into tangible business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of Data Science and AI initiatives (e.g., payroll accuracy and P&L cockpit).
- Manage planning, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Engineers, and Data Scientists.
- Translate technical progress into clear, business-focused updates for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure programmes are aligned with broader commercial and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on Data Science, AI/ML, or advanced analytics projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
