Our team consists of around 19 full-time staff, with 30 UK and 20 international associate trainers. We offer high-end, interactive, engaging, and creative training programmes, delivered face-to-face or virtually using multiple platforms such as Zoom and Teams. Position Overview:
The Sales Support Executive is a pivotal role responsible for strengthening MTD's revenue-generating activity by ensuring every inbound enquiry, client interaction and sales process runs with clarity, speed and accuracy. - Protect and enhance conversion rates
- Improve speed to enquiry and client response times
- Free up existing sales team members to focus on high-value selling
- Safeguard data quality, pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy
- Provide consistent, professional support across proposals, contracts, tenders, CRM management and customer experience
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead & Enquiry Management
- Manage the shared inbox and inbound phone line as first-line support, ensuring all enquiries are acknowledged and assigned within agreed SLA timescales.
- Add all enquiries accurately into Salesforce with correct contact details, lead source, product type and follow-up actions.
- Allocate leads to the appropriate salesperson based on division, product and urgency.
- Ensure zero leakage of leads and monitor inbox performance daily.
- CRM & Pipeline Accuracy
- Maintain data quality in Salesforce including full account, contact and opportunity detail.
- Produce weekly pipeline and activity reports for the Head of Sales.
- Support the Head of Sales with auditing of pipelines, closed-lost analysis and documentation completeness.
- Create dashboard views and reports that improve forecasting accuracy.
- Proposal & Sales Documentation Support
- Format and populate branded proposals using AI tools.
- Produce client terms/agreements and ensure all fee, date and activity information is accurate.
- Support with tenders, PQQs, quotes, deck formatting, case studies, imagery, brochureware and web copy updates.
- Ensure all documents follow MTD branding requirements.
- Client Coordination & Scheduling
- Book client discovery calls, proposal follow-ups and demos into salesperson diaries.
- Liaise with trainers to confirm availability, logistics, fees and programme information.
- Support the scheduling of open course availability, or in-house sessions, when required by Sales or Operations teams.
- Customer Experience & Account Support
- Support account management activity by logging touchpoints, updating account notes and preparing renewal or upsell information.
- Assist with aftercare tasks such as accreditation set-up, learner access or feedback campaigns where needed.
- Sales Enablement, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on leads, pipeline health, conversions, shared inbox performance and enquiry patterns.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements (aligned to Better, More, New).
- Support marketing and sales collaboration activities (e.g., testimonials, case study collation, industry research).
- Operational Support
- Manage trainer CPD log collation, insurance reminders or certificates where relevant to client delivery.
- Support Operations/Finance with booking or billing tasks when directly linked to sales activity.
- Provide office cover and support when required.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a sales support, commercial admin or customer-facing coordination role is essential
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail (GCSE English at C or 5 & above)
- High speed and accuracy of data input
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise competing tasks
- Friendly, bubbly and professional phone manner
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds
- Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset

Package:
- Salary: £26-29k dependent on experience and qualifications
- Bonus: Annual bonus of up to 10% based on company profit and performance
- Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) based at our HQ in Coventry office based
- Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays. An additional 2 days per year for each full year of service rising to 30 days max

- Private Health Care: Private healthcare for yourself after 1 year of service. After 5 years of service this will cover family too.
