As an Estates Maintenance Technician, you'll support the Maintenance Operations Manager in delivering planned and reactive maintenance across our facilities.
Key responsibilities include
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs on plant and facility equipment.
- Performing weekly flushing and monthly temperature testing as part of legionella management procedures.
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical and facility-related issues.
- Responding to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns across site.
- Working closely with contractors to ensure maintenance and repair activities are completed safely and to MTC standards.
- Completing statutory inspections and maintaining accurate service reports and maintenance records.
- Using CAFM systems to manage and update work orders.
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities across the maintenance function.
- What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance position.
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in a related discipline.
- Strong practical maintenance and fault‑finding skills.
- Ability to work at height.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to participate in a 24/7 standby rota for emergency call‑outs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable
- Knowledge of boilers and water treatment systems, including maintenance and repair.
- IOSH Working Safely qualification.
