Azure Data Engineer – Enterprise Applications
The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will support the ongoing development of our BI Hub and data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
You’ll collaborate with Application Owners and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain robust data models and pipelines that power high-quality Power BI reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the BI Hub and enterprise data infrastructure
- Contribute to requirements gathering, problem solving, data modelling, design, testing, and end-user support

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience across Microsoft BI tools and technologies, including:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Data Lakes (BYDL 2.0)
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Data Factory
- Dev Ops (data pipelines)
- Microsoft Purview
- CDM Utility
- Event Grid
- Serverless and Dedicated SQL Pools
- Power BI (admin, apps, pipelines)
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience creating and managing high-quality functional documentation
- Business analysis capability with a focus on knowledge retention
- Ability to work with third-party providers and implement technical changes
Desirable
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (Finance, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Insights)
- ITIL Foundation qualification
