The MTC is seeking a results-driven Channel Sales / Partnership Manager to win, maintain, and expand our commercial partnerships within UK Manufacturing, primarily relating to the SME environment. This role will include supporting the company’s ongoing sales and growth ambitions by delivering channel sales to a portfolio of existing and new partners. An essential aspect of the role is working collaboratively across MTC departments to help design and deliver appropriate products, services and solutions to our partners and their member organisations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and close a pipeline of profitable, strategically aligned sales opportunities that deliver positive financial and impact results (£1m+)
- Onboard new partners whilst maintaining and expanding relationships with existing partners e.g. Lloyds Bank, Make UK, Accountancy and Business Advisory firms
- Understand customer and business needs to cross-sell and up-sell MTC capabilities
- Development of mutually beneficial partnerships that create value creation and win/win outcomes
- Be a communication champion across all internal and external stakeholders e.g., Marketing, Engineering, Legal teams
- Ongoing measurement of partner satisfaction (NPS / CSAT)
- Liaise with other areas of sales activity to avoid any potential conflicts – be a team player
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- An agile mind with a passion for innovation, transformation, and growth
- Proven evidence of overachieving consultative sales targets within manufacturing / engineering environments - in excess of £1m per annum
- Clear understanding and experience of operating within commercially driven, channel sales / partner roles
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- Willing and able to conduct regular business travel to partner locations - nationally
- Requisite levels of gravitas and emotional intelligence
- Passion for delivering customer excellence and positive societal impact
