- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct coding and approval
- Match invoices to purchase orders as and when they are received. Investigate or alert discrepancies to the appropriate person
- Chase suppliers for statements, where required
- Investigate discrepancies and reconcile supplier statements to supplier accounts within the D365 system
- Assist Purchase Ledger Clerks with resolving supplier queries promptly
- Allocation of direct debits to invoices
- Assist Finance Control team where required ie VAT or Supplier queries
- Support in month end closing processes related to Accounts Payable
- Maintain and reconcile the pro-forma payment schedule to ensure costs are released to its appropriate cost base in a timely manner
- Respond to emails Accounts Payable inbox, including dealing with supplier queries
- Co-operation and assistance with the external auditors at year end regarding sample requests

Key responsibilities:
