About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Assembly Technician to join our workshop team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). In this role, you will be responsible for the precision assembly of complex, high-value components and systems, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge manufacturing projects. You will play a key part in developing innovative technologies by applying advanced assembly techniques in a collaborative and technically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-precision assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Interpret and follow detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work meets strict quality and performance standards.
- Operate advanced assembly tools and specialised equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly issues.
- Implement corrective actions to maintain product integrity and quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and fellow technicians.
