This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards
- Cleaning work areas
- Providing customer service
- Unloading stock
- Reloading salvage
- Performing floral clerk duties when assigned

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, using units of American money and weight measurement.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions, and to handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: The role requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment: The environment is typically cool (55-60°F), often wet/humid, with moving mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and cold is frequent. Noise levels are moderate to loud.
