Service Manager Emergency Care / UTC

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Service Manager to work across its Urgent Treatment Centres with the main base at Northwick Park Hospital. The role will involve close working with the ED team and occasional cross‑cover between ED.

As part of the UTC leadership team, you will provide operational support and manage the service on a day‑to‑day basis. The position is fast‑paced, with opportunities to develop your professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a large portfolio of staff and practice strict financial governance.
• Deliver on performance standards and present regularly at divisional meetings.
• Manage conflicting priorities, line manage a large team, handle complaints and promote service improvement.
• Maintain rota coordination and practise visible leadership within clinical areas.
• Ensure services meet all contractual and performance requirements, including ongoing assessment of demand and capacity.
• Accountable for effective performance, demonstrating achievements against national and local requirements.
