About the role

As a Band 6 you will be overseeing the daily running of the acute service. You will manage admissions, discharges and the flow of patients within the department, be involved in data collection, KPIs and audits, health roster management and supporting the staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the acute service
• Manage admissions, discharges and patient flow within the department
• Contribute to data collection, KPIs and audits
• Manage health roster effectively
• Support the staff
• Work within the Acute ward and Day-care, prioritising patient care to ensure safe standards are maintained
• Collaborate with Great Ormond Street Hospital and the community child development team to care for children with complex health needs

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with proven clinical expertise in paediatrics who can provide a high standard of professional care.
