An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and experienced individual seeking to expand their existing managerial skills.

As Office Manager, you will be expected to provide day to day operational management of the Administrative and Clerical staff and confidentially navigate the new role by taking a proactive approach to understanding and delivering administrative targets.

You’ll need to demonstrate you have an understanding of working at an acute hospital, understand the Radiology pathways and booking processes.

The role also requires the post holder to provide PA support to the Head of Operations and Clinical Director.

Here are key responsibilities:

• Provide day to day operational management of the Administrative & Clerical Staff across the other Trust sites.
• Recruit, appraise, manage attendance and other Human Resource issues.
• Execute efficient, fast, and accurate clerical work in line with locally agreed practices.
• Maintain effective liaison with GPs, patients, hospital and community staff concerning Radiological investigations.
• Ensure 18‑week target pathways are met.
• Act as super user of Computerised Radiology Information System (CRIS) across all sites.
• Review working practice and systems and make recommendations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of administrative services.
• Manage the processes of referrals received via Cerner and other referral sources.
• Take a proactive approach to understanding the pathways and workflows.
