Consultant in General Radiology with special interest in Gastrointestinal Imaging

LNWUH NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated radiologist to join a team of 60 consultants, three staff grade doctors, and 23 registrars across three sites to provide high-quality imaging services.

The successful candidate will contribute to the broad spectrum of work undertaken by our consultant radiologists, as detailed in the job description.

The post is based at Central Middlesex Hospital. Post-holders will be expected to cover all sites as part of the acute Radiology management, including commitments to MDTs, imaging-guided procedures, plain radiographs, CT, and MRI reporting.

Applications should include the names and addresses of three referees (one of whom should be your current or most recent employer), details of GMC registration, and CCT or evidence of eligibility to apply for CCT. Applicants applying for multiple posts may not be considered.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register or be eligible within six months of the interview date.

General responsibilities include acute, elective, and on-call work. Teaching and training are actively encouraged. The role involves on-call commitments, including weekend work. Opportunities for teaching and management are plentiful.
