Our Business Analysts are responsible for identifying and translating business needs into technical solutions. Collaborating closely with external customers, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams, they elicit business requirements and express them as actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Key responsibilities:- Work closely with the Product Owner to understand the product’s vision, goals, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify business requirements.
- Conduct interviews and workshops to define product features and functionality.
- Document, manage and support the prioritization of business requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear and concise user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with software and QA engineers to ensure a shared understanding of the user stories.
- Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing the product development backlog.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand ups etc.
- Identify and resolve conflicts, dependencies, and issues that may impact product delivery and quality.
- Support testing and evaluation activities to validate the product’s functionality and quality.
- Gather feedback from customers on the product’s performance, usability, and satisfaction.
- Identify areas for product improvement, enhancement, and innovation.
- Represent the product internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices in Business Analysis and Product Development.
- Proven experience as a business analyst, product analyst, product manager, or similar role.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of the Agile methodology (SCRUM an advantage).
- Experience with requirements management and agile project management tools.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Customer focus and empathy, with the ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Knowledge of the product domain, industry trends, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Business Analysis and/or Agile certification is an advantage.
