MSX International is looking for a Data Analyst to join our busy team at Ford Automotive in Dunton, Essex. As a Data Analyst you will be part of our European Uptime Management team, dedicated to improving the customers experience by reducing time vehicles are off the road for maintenance and repairs for our global automotive partner.

The Role:

In this role, the Data Analyst will be involved in extracting data from an internal system to understand and identify trends, flagging up areas for improvements across the European markets, creating presentations of your findings and recommendations. Main duties would include:

  • Analysing Dealer management system input data and reviewing vehicle movements through the workshops.
  • Identify customers vehicles experiencing delays due to capacity or parts supply concerns.
  • Provide specific Dealer initiative actions and reporting to project management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual burdens.

Qualifications

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills, along with strong communication skills. Our ideal data analyst will have experience in the automotive industry or supply chain and a confident demeanor presenting results to senior stakeholder management, as well as:

  • Ability to create advanced reports in Excel, understand the data and create actions based on the results.
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to learn other bespoke systems.
  • Ability and confidence to present results and findings to senior stakeholder management.
  • Be a quick learner be able to resolve issues and see it through to the end.
  • Have a constant, everyday work ethic to keep getting through the work.

Additional Information

Working pattern and location: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday Hybrid, 2 days a week in Dunton, Essex.
