MSX International is seeking experienced Senior Automotive Consultants to join our team for the "Retail Fitness" programme. The consultants will work closely with Ford UK dealers to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency. This role involves analysing current processes, implementing action plans, and driving continuous improvement to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation. As a key member of the Retail Fitness team, you will be increasing Dealership efficiency, workshop performance and enhancing customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of dealer workshops to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans based on Ford's Playbook to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency.
- Focus on key areas such as booking processes, warranty efficiency, express service implementation, and overall workshop productivity.
- Utilise MSX's reporting tools to track and report on KPIs, providing monthly updates.
- Deliver tailored training plans to dealers to ensure sustained improvements.
- Collaborate with Ford UK and other stakeholders to align on strategies and next steps.
- Escalate non-compliant dealers to Ford stakeholders as necessary.

Qualifications
We’re looking for experienced automotive aftersales professionals who can demonstrate the ability to drive change. To be successful in the role, the Senior Aftersales Consultant must have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive trade as a service manager (essential).
- 2 years’ experience as an area manager or aftersales development manager (advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of automotive service processes and industry standards.
- Proven experience in implementing and coordinating new processes.
- Experience working directly with OEMs, NSCs, and importers is an advantage.
- Proficiency in interpreting service key figures and deriving actionable measures.
- Excellent negotiation skills at the dealer management level.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with the MS Office package.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High customer orientation, empathy, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Analytical and methodical approach to work.
- Hands-on approach with strong practical relevance and persuasiveness.
- Team player with good assertiveness.
- Willingness to learn new methods and apply them with enthusiasm.
- High willingness to travel extensively.
Additional Information
Working pattern and location:
- Full time (Monday – Friday)
- National Roles Available
- Travel to Dealer locations for up to 80% of working week (fully expensed and vehicle provided for travel)
- Will be required to attend monthly meetings at clients HQ in Dunton Essex.
