MSX International is looking for an Automotive Parts Sales Operations Manager to contribute towards the commercial aspirations of the Trade Parts business for our automotive partner, a Premium car manufacturer with significant market share and presence in the UK. The Area Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for driving sales in a specified territory with a focus on two key objectives:
- Working with the franchised retailer network developing sales & marketing initiatives in line with the overarching business plan and programme standards.
- Capturing appropriate market share and revenue through the independent repairer segment.
Additionally, the Automotive Parts Sales Operations Manager will:
- Create bespoke sales and marketing plans for Trade Parts Dealers.
- Implement promotional initiatives to IMTs in your assigned territory supporting the Retailers in your business area.
- Have proven credibility as a sales consultant to the Trade Parts Dealers.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets & profitability.
- Support programme brand standards and compliance.
- Identify, qualify and capture revenue opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Gather and feedback market analysis and competitor intelligence.
- Manage multiple high priority projects.
- Maintain and share a fully updated business activity diary.
- Utilise the business activity tool to keep an updated record of activity and share reporting with retailers.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships.
Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with high level of experience in Trade Parts and strong customer relationship skills. To be successful in this role, the Automotive Parts Sales Operations Manager will have:
- 5 years plus sales management experience within large automotive parts wholesaler, or successful OEM Dealer with unrivalled overall parts sales knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of automotive parts sector (OEM / OES).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to travel within allocated geographical area.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus.
