We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Vehicle Business Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a key member of the Commercial Vehicle team, you will focus on increasing dealership capacity, enhancing customer relationships, and improving workshop performance to help automotive dealers reach their full potential.
Role Details
As a Business Manager with MSXI Global, you\’ll join a team working closely with a respected global automotive manufacturer. Experience in automotive aftersales, performance data analysis, and implementing improvements is essential. This role is field-based, covering dealerships in Scotland, North of England, and Northern Ireland, requiring travel and overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Develop action plans with dealership managers to grow the business and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure optimal workshop capacity at each dealership to service the local commercial vehicle fleet.
- Increase vehicle visits and spending per visit.
- Implement and support commercial vehicle programs through training and coaching.
- Participate in meetings, report on performance, and develop presentations for reviews and workshops.
- Monitor key performance metrics and reporting processes with dealerships.
- Lead the launch of the ‘Uptime Management system’ to reduce customer downtime.
- Assist with the Mobile Service program and improve sales-to-service processes.
- Provide dealer-specific initiatives and reporting to project management.
- Perform additional operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive dealer aftersales; commercial vehicle experience is a plus.
- Strong results-driven attitude.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Numerical and analytical skills.
- Full driving license is required.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Based in Scotland with travel up to 80% of the time, fully expensed.
- Monthly meetings at client HQ in Dunton, Essex.
