Overview
Security Operative
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the Operations team at Brands Hatch race circuit as a full time Security Operative.
The Security function at Brands Hatch is responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment, offering a high level of service as the first point of contact to a diverse range of visitors. You’ll be joining an experienced team, who’s duty is to protect the historic motorsport venue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Main duties
- Opening and closing the venue and the buildings within it
- Providing general venue security
- Conducting routine patrols of the site
- Working with the lead security guard to ensure adequate staff cover
- Supervise the main entrance to the site
- Work with a variety of teams to ensure the safety of guests at hospitality and corporate events
Requirements
- SIA licence for door supervision (Public surveillance & security guard licences are desirable)
- Previous security experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence both to travel to site and around site on patrols
- Flexibility to work available overtime shifts when required
- Previous experience working in a sporting venue / stadium would be desirable
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
- Experience working in a face to face customer service focused role

Positions
- A 48-hour contract, working four 12-hour shifts per week
- A 36-hour contract, working three 12-hour shifts per week
Both roles will include a mix of day and night shifts, with additional overtime opportunities available during the week and at weekends.
