At MSV Housing we are committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes and our Foyer Administrator is key to making this happen. We are looking to recruit an experienced individual with fantastic administration skills to join our established team. Reporting to our Foyer Manager, our Foyer Administrator provides support in all aspects of the operational and front of house service delivery to Foyer residents.
To assist the Foyer team in the fulfilment of their job role ensuring the service is run efficiently and effectively. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.
What do our Foyer Administrators do:
- Front - desk and Communication Management: Handle reception duties including greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, controlling access, distributing keys and post, maintaining information displays, and supporting communication flow between the Foyer and the wider association.
- Administrative Operations Record - Keeping: Carry out daily administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, preparing resident files, photocopying/scanning documents, maintaining accurate financial transaction records, and ensuring compliance with MSV financial procedures.
- Resource Office Coordination: Manage office supplies (e.g., stationery, electric cards, refreshments), maintain up-to-date marketing materials and local service information, and support operational activities such as organising tours and attending external meetings when required.
- Application, Records, and Tenancy Administration: Support the full applicant and resident administration process, including assisting with application forms, maintaining the waiting list, keeping accurate records, setting up new client files, processing HB/Council Tax claims, updating records, and liaising with departments such as Housing Needs and Council Tax.
- Operational Coordination and Compliance: Carry out essential operational admin tasks such as arranging pre-void inspections, coordinating with the Maintenance Team to ensure timely repairs, supporting H S inspections, managing income and lettings administration, and maintaining positive relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a busy office environment, including regular face-to-face interactions with the public and knowledge of housing-related processes.
- Strong IT capability, with confidence using databases, good overall digital literacy, and fast, accurate keyboard skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong numeracy and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people.
- Highly organised and detail-focused, able to prioritise tasks, maintain accuracy, and work well under pressure while staying professional.
- Positive team player with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
