At MSV Housing we are committed to providing safe, high‑quality homes. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager – Treasury & Investment to join our established team. Reporting to the Finance Director you will oversee investment planning, treasury operations and financial performance for property‑related activities, ensuring compliance and supporting our corporate priorities. You will lead a motivated team, driving efficiency through budgeting, forecasting and automation, and partner across the business to maintain financial strength and excellent customer service. We also value individuals who are passionate about advocating on behalf of people and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key financial systems and tools including financial planning models, asset and liability registers, investment appraisals and cash‑flow forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain treasury strategy and policies, ensuring liquidity compliance and accurate cash‑flow reporting.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance for growth, investment and treasury plans, providing variance analysis and recovery plans where needed.
  • Oversee funding and lender relationships, including debt management, covenant compliance and loan security schedules.
  • Lead financial performance reporting for development and capital investment programmes, delivering robust monthly processes, data integrity and insightful analysis to support decision‑making and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or Treasury (MCT) with 5 years relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience partnering with development and growth teams, delivering financial reporting for new builds and acquisitions, programme and scheme performance.
  • Experience working within a regulated sector such as social housing.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire in line with MSV values and culture.
  • Sound understanding of financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of treasury management.
